Light Hudson up in Blue for Autism Awareness Day and Hudson Community Resource Day for Special Needs

Mayor William Currin, Autism Services for Kids, and the Community of Hudson, will be Lighting Hudson Up In Blue, proclaming April 2, 2013 National Autism Awareness Day. The Lighting Ceremony will take place around the Gazebo, at 6:00pm. Please join us to help raise Awareness for Autism by participating in the lighting ceremony in the local community! Awareness is just one of the vital pieces of the puzzle for families in the community involved with special needs. In addition to the lighting ceremony, we will be having a Parent/Family Resource Day at The Christ Community Chapel. This will take place April 2, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This will include presenters and resources from the following organizations:

• Autism Services for Kids, LLC

• Dr. Tozzi and Dr. Reed, Kidslink NeuroDevelopmental Center

• Akron Children's Hospital, NeuroDevelopmental Science Center

• Autism Society of Greater Akron

• Hudson Parent Mentor Program

• Summit Board of Developmental Disabilities

• Take Me Home Program of Summit County

• Hudson Special Olympics

• Soccer for All
