STOW, Ohio, July 25, 2013 – Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling & Design (ASRD), an award-winning remodeling company based in Stow, Ohio, is pleased to announce that President/Owner Anthony Slabaugh has been named to Professional Remodeler magazine’s “40 Under 40” Class of 2013. Slabaugh, 38, was selected from a pool of more than 100 candidates.
The award, in its third year, is presented to 40 successful industry professionals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated a commitment to furthering the remodeling industry. Since opening a design center at 4724 Darrow Rd. in 2011, ASRD’s revenue has increased and is expected to reach $1.3 million this year.
Another factor in the selection process was “volunteer, association, and board membership that enhances the remodeling industry,” according to the magazine’s website. Slabaugh is a member of both the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and the National Kitchen & Bath Association. He is also an active partner with Habitat Restore and participates in an inner-city home reconstruction program in Akron, Ohio.
In addition to the “40 Under 40” honor, Slabaugh has garnered two NARI Contractor of the Year awards, was recognized in Remodeling Magazine’s Big50 Class of 2011 and has received Angie’s List Super Service award three consecutive years.
