Lupus Support Group in Akron

The Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter will host its monthly lupus support group in Akron on Tuesday, January 8.

What: Akron Lupus Support Group

Where: Goodyear Branch of the Akron-Summit County Public Library -- 60 Goodyear Blvd., Akron, OH

When: Tuesday, January 8 -- 7p.m.- 8:30p.m.

The support group is an open, small-group environment that encourages discussion among lupus patients and their families. It is a place where persons with lupus can share their experiences and ask questions. Most discussions focus on the "how-to's" of living with a chronic illness. It is a safe place for people to learn, share and help.
