Lutherans and Catholics Come Together During Lent

UPublish story by Dineen Dowling

Faith Lutheran Church and St. Hilary Catholic Parish, both in Fairlawn, have come together during Lent for the second year in a row to share in a mid-week meal, worship service and speaker.

This year's theme is Journey Together for Justice: Responding to Matthew 25 and the Poor in our Own Backyard.

On Wednesday, March 6, Faith hosts the soup supper, Evening Prayer and speaker team from International Institute: Diane Johnson, Interim Director and Kate Sass, Director of Refugee Settlement.

The meal starts at 6 p.m. at Faith, 2726 W. Market Street (across of the Marc's in Fairlawn).
