Members of the Ohio Western Reserve Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (OWRC-MOAA) have scheduled their next general membership meeting on Saturday, February 16, at the 356 Fighter Group Restaurant, 4919 Mt. Pleasant Road, North Canton. We will start at 11:45 a.m. and will order off the restaurant lunch menu. Our speaker will be Ohio State Senator Frank LaRose, Ohio State Senate District 27. He has been named Chairman of the Senate Public Safety, Local Government & Veterans Affairs Committee for the 130th General Assembly. He was also named Vice-Chairman of the Public Utilities Committee, a panel he served on during the last legislative session. In these roles, he will help guide policy discussion covering a wide range of issues affecting Ohio’s safety forces, veterans and local governments. He is a Special Forces veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. All OWRC members, spouses, family, friends, and eligible officers are encouraged to attend this meeting. The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is the nation's largest and most influential association of military officers. We are a powerful force speaking for a strong national defense and representing the interests of military officers and their families at every stage of their careers.
