Members of the Ohio Western Reserve Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (OWRC-MOAA) have scheduled their next general membership meeting on Saturday, March 16, at the 356 Fighter Group Restaurant, 4919 Mt. Pleasant Road, North Canton. We will start at 12:00 p.m. and will order off the restaurant lunch menu.
Our speaker will be Judge Taryn L. Heath from the Stark County Court of Commom Pleas. Judge Heath presides over Honor Court, a Veterans Treatment Court, which was established in 2011. She also chairs the H.O.P.E. Program, a collaborative effort of community partners designed to assist offenders with mental illness. Judge Heath was instrumental in the establishment of the Foreclosure Mediation Program for the Court and has been an advocate of educating the public and homeowners regarding the foreclosure process. Her efforts at progressive programming in the Court make the justice system in Stark County more efficient and more responsive to the needs of our community and its citizens. All OWRC members, spouses, family, friends, and eligible officers are encouraged to attend this meeting. For further information contact LTC Dave Riegler at 330-666-2257 no later than March 13.
