Tax Commissioner Joe Testa delivers latest news on taxes and assistance for small businesses
Ohio Tax Commissioner Joe Testa, with the support of Medina County Auditor Mike Kovack, will be meeting on Monday, Feb. 24 at 3:30 p.m. with local county and community leaders to deliver the latest tax news and updates on the ongoing efforts to improve Ohio’s tax climate as a catalyst for economic growth. The meeting will be held in the Medina County Administration Building, in the Auditor’s office, 3rd Fl., 144 N. Broadway St., Medina.
Commissioner Testa will discuss the tax law changes that are putting more than $1.5 billion back into the hands of Ohio small businesses, and that give even more money back to individuals paying Ohio’s income tax. The Commissioner will also be explaining the economic factors behind those tax cuts and why the continuing push to further reduce state tax rates. Testa will also focus on state government programs and initiatives designed to help small businesses grow and create jobs.
Mr. Testa will be answering questions from those attending the event and will be available for news media interviews following the meeting, which is scheduled to last approximately one hour.
