Tegrit Group Announces Closing of DC Recordkeeping Business Sale.

Akron, Ohio. October 2, 2013 -- Tegrit Group LLC (“Tegrit”) announced that it has closed the sale of its DC Recordkeeping business effective September 30, 2013, located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The terms of the sale are not being disclosed.

"We are grateful for the dedication and contributions of our staff in Spartanburg who faithfully carried on the vision of Jim Jameson, the founder of our DC Recordkeeping business. They will be missed and we thank them for their efforts,” said Mike Spickard, Tegrit Group’s CEO. “This transaction will allow us to focus more fully on our core businesses of technology solutions, actuarial consulting, compliance and outsourcing services for retirement plan systems and sponsors. We believe this sale to Alerus Retirement Solutions provides our recordkeeping clients and their plan participants an advanced, cost-efficient platform for investing and growing their retirement plan assets."
