The following is a list of hands-on workshops with dates, times and descriptions:
Saturday, March 15 at 10am: Early Spring Potting Workshop
Come create an early spring flowering porch pot for your home! At this workshop, we’ll be planting and embellishing a Hellebores porch pot that’ll stay pretty on your porch until it is time to plant pansies. Hellebores are unique, cold tolerant perennials that will prolifically bloom and add unique interest to your home during the colder months. Join us as we create new porch pots that’ll bring you gardening joy when you least expect it! No class fee; you only pay for materials used. Potting soil provided for free.
Saturday, March 22 at 1pm: Terrarium Workshop
Think outside of the pot! Brighten up your home this winter with fresh, colorful plants and mini-scape your own little world. At this hands-on workshop, you will design and plant a tiny garden under glass. You may bring a terrarium from home or purchase one here. We encourage you to bring a vessel or vase that it larger than you think you want, because the smaller the terrarium, the harder it is to be creative! No class fee; you only pay for materials used. Potting soil provided for free.
Seminars take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Graf Growers, 1015 White Pond Drive, with easy access from West Market Street and Interstate 77. Workshops are at times listed.
