USG Corporation (NYSE: USG), a leading building products company, recently honored the winners of the 2012 President’s Club—USG’s elite group of top salespeople. Local resident John Marcarello was among the 34 salespeople that were selected to join USG’s President’s Club.
Over 100 people gathered at the Waldorf Astoria in Chicago from April 10-12 to celebrate the hard-earned accomplishments of these top-notch salespeople who have made exceptional contributions to the company’s growth and advancement.
“I’m surprised and very appreciative,” said Marcarello, account representative, shared services for northeast Ohio, of receiving the award. “I’ve always tried to emulate past President’s Club winners and I owe my success to all the people I’ve worked with and for, including managers, customer service reps, tech support and architectural support. They are integral parts that make everything work.”
This is Marcarello’s first time receiving this honor.
Winners were selected based on the following criteria: proven success in the promotion and sales of new products, achieved and exceeded operational targets, successfully managed and grew customer relationships, and above all, demonstrated a personal commitment to excellence.
“We’re extremely proud to award John to this elite group,” said Chris Griffin, executive vice president of operations, USG Corporation and president, United States Gypsum Company. “His dedication and achievements are a testament to the remarkable talent at USG and we look forward to continued success.”
