UPublish story by Debbie McKinney

On Friday, November 8, 2013, Rahab Ministries, a Christian ministry devoted to rescuing and restoring women who are trafficked into prostitution in Northeast Ohio, is hosting their 5th Annual Scarlet Cord Benefit Concert at Christ Community Chapel in Hudson, Ohio.

Registration is open on-line at www.Rahab-Ministries.org. Tickets are $30.00 in advance, $50.00 at the door. A special admission price is available for pastors and ministers.

This annual sold-out event will feature songs performed by the Christ Community Chapel Worship Team, with Jim Bossler and Tampa Murphy, as they present “Journey to the Gospel through the Music of the ‘80’s.”

The evening begins at 5:30p.m.with a silent auction and appetizers, followed by the concert at 7:00p.m. A dessert buffet will be available during intermission, as guests finalize their silent auction bids. The evening concludes with testimonials, a live auction, praise and worship.

Appetizers will generously be provided by Papa Joe’s, with desserts donated by Main Street Gourmet. Other event sponsors include House of LaRose and Kingdom Title.

Sponsor opportunities, including admission and publicity recognition, are available by contacting Rahab Ministries. Each dollar raised will help Rahab reach their goal of securing a safe house; a residential home where women can heal. The “scarlet cord” of hope that Rahab Ministries extends is the safe haven of Jesus, along with transitional assistance and support, while breaking the chains of sexual slavery.

Christ Community Chapel is located at 750 W. Streetsboro Street, Hudson, Ohio 44236. To RSVP, please visit www.Rahab-Ministries.org, or call 330-819-3326. RSVP deadline is November 5, 2013.
