Current Tallmadge resident and former Cuyahoga Falls resident, Miss Breanna Clemens, was chosen as a State Finalist in the National American Miss Ohio Teen Pageant held last weekend in Columbus, Ohio. The NAM pageant program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation, and offers an 'All-American spirit of fun for family and friends.' Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills like public speaking, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals.
Breanna did remarkably well for her first-ever pageant and came home with several trophies and ribbons for her achievements in many optional competitions. She was named 3rd runner-up in the Miss Photogenic competition in which there were over 100 photo entries! We are so very proud of her!! She achieved her goals for the pageant and made some new friends along the way!! Her family and friends would like to personally thank each and every local business, friends and family that supported her venture both emotionally and financially!! A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Paul Floyd Photography, Halo Salon/Spa and Fashion Nails in Cuyahoga Falls for their support!! The winning photo submitted for the photogenic contest was provided by Paul Floyd Photography - Thank you Paul!!
Mom, Dad, Grandma, sister, friends and family want to tell Bre that 'even though she wasn't crowned the title for the pageant this year, she doesn't have to wear a crown to be queen in our hearts' - we love you!! Great job!
