Kelley Cejer, a Junior from Highland High School, selected to compete in fastpitch softball showcase

Medina Ohio - Nov 26, 2012 - Kelley Cejer from Highland High School has recently been selected to compete in the Queen of Diamonds Showcase North (QDSN) at Kent State University on January 5th and 6th, 2013. The QDSN, now in its 19th season, is part of the Queen of Diamond’s Showcase events. These are the largest fastpitch softball showcases of their kind in the U.S.

This event continues to attract athletes from 20+ states and 2 Canadian Provinces. Its’ sister showcase, the Queen of Diamonds South, is in its 5th season. Both events have over 2000 applicants in which approximately 260 athletes are selected.

This showcase is very unique as athletes actually ‘apply to’ this event individually and are selected based on many criteria ranging from ability, potential, academics, grad year, coach’s requests and referrals.

Kelley Cejer, a two-year varsity letter winner, All-Gazette Honorable Mention pick, and All-Suburban League Honorable Mention selection will play as a Catcher / 3rd Baseman. Kelley plays summer tournament ball for the 18U MC Madness - White from Brunswick, Ohio.
