BATH TWP.: Hale Farm & Village opens for the summer beginning Saturday.



Explore 90 acres of historical structures, farm animals, heritage gardens and demonstrations of food preparation as well as early American crafts and trades, including glassblowing, blacksmith work and broom making.



Special opening-day events Saturday include the 6th Ohio Cavalry Living History demonstration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and volunteer recruitment and orientation from 11 a.m. to noon at the Gatehouse Visitor Center.



Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12.



Western Reserve Historical Society members and children ages 2 and younger are free.
