Kent State University at Stark has announced four new speakers for the 2013 - 2014 school year. The featured speaker series is an opportunity for students and residents to receive information on several different topics from the experts. The lectures are free and open to the public but tickets are required to get a seat. There is a limit to four tickets per person.



Speakers this year include teacher, musician, filmmaker and inventor of the World Peace Game, John Hunter. Hunter will speak on October 8. Tickets will be available on September 16. On November 12, tennis champion Billie Jean King will present Pressure is a Privilege and Other Lessons in Business and Life. Tickets are available October 21. Author Jodi Picoult will talk about The Facts Behind the Fiction on February 25 and tickets will be available February 3. The series will end on April 7 with author and philanthropist Robert Edsel who will present Monuments Men. You can purchase tickets on March 17.
