The Kent State University at Stark will hold it's 2013 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 10th at the Umstattd Performing Arts Hall in Canton. There is an expected 160 graduates to be receiving bachelor's, master's and associate's degrees at the event.



This year's speaker will be Merle D. Griff, Ph. D. Griff is the founder and CEO of SarahCare Senior Solutions. Griff is one of the nation's leading authorities on senior care. She has served as a delegate to the last two White House Conferences on aging and is the author of LinkAges, a book about intergenerational programs. Griff has also written many articles and case studies on aging. She co-hosts a radio show called Wriggling in the Middle which addresses the problems associated with being the middle generation of people that are responsible for both their children and parents.
