A Stow man has pleaded guilty to one count of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and one count of possessing criminal tools, according to court records.
Trevor Wozniak, 27, of Stow will be sentenced in Cuyahoga County Court on Tuesday for pleading guilty to attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and possessing criminal tools after going to meet a fictitious young girl with a condom, according to Patch.
Wozniak’s post stated that "he was looking for fun" and that he did not discriminate against "age, race, or size," according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office.
On August 15, the Ohio ICAC Task Force caught the post made by Wozniak and responded claiming to be a 14-year-old girl. After several emails between the task force and Wozniak, arrangements were made to meet. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the arrangement was for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.
After arrival at the meet location, Wozniak was arrested, and officers found a condom in his back pocket.
Wozniak will face a maximum of 2.5 years in prison and will have to register as a Tier 2 sex offender. He will have to register his home and work addresses with a sheriff's office every 180 days for 25 years, according to Cleveland.com.
