Stouffer Realty was a big winner in the 2012 Beacon's Best contest as the No. 1 Realty Company and workplace of the No. 1 Realtor, William Lowery. Three other Stouffer agents placed in top 10 positions as well – Nicole Alden, No. 3; Rich Lubinski, No. 4; and Cathy Victor, No. 10.

The five top 10 showings affirm owner Gary Stouffer's conviction that his expectations and attitude filter down to the company's agents.

“We're professionals,” he said. “It's how I try to live in and outside the business. It's how I expect our agents to work. We won best company because Stouffer Realty has the best agents. We take care of our agents and they take care of the public.”

The company's mission statement captures that conviction: “Stouffer Realty is committed to professionalism and excellence when helping people identify their real estate needs and guiding them through the buying and selling process. We believe in offering the support and freedom that top agents need to succeed. Our agents then work together with a spirit of cooperation, upholding our reputation for integrity and hard work, and placing the needs of our clients first.”

If growth is any indication, his modus operandi works well. Stouffer Realty first opened in Stow in 1997 with about 10 sales agents. Stouffer Realty now has five offices with 110 agents. In addition to the original location in Stow, Stouffer has offices in Fairlawn, Medina, Kent-Brimfield and Green-Canton.

The company logo and tag line – “Integrity and exceptional service has been our legacy since 1997” – reflect the company focus on professionalism, said Stouffer, whose real estate career spans 33 years.
