RPM names vice president

• RPM International: Timothy R. Kinser was appointed vice president of operations, effective June 1.

• Davey Tree Expert Co.: Laura Wimer was promoted to director of client experience, Eastern Utility. Lou Stevens was promoted to regional vice president, PG&E operation, Davey Tree Surgery Co. Dennis Jenkins was promoted to senior account manager.

• Community One Credit Union: Paula A. Heitger was named chief executive officer of the North Canton credit union. She will replace Evelyn L. Canterbury who is retiring after 43 years of service. Canterbury will retain the position of president through Sept. 1.


Local lawyers to be honored

Randall M. Comer, president of the Ohio State Bar Association, will recognize several area attorneys for their longtime service Tuesday when he addresses the OSBA District 11 annual meeting at the John S. Knight Center in Akron.

OSBA District 11 includes more than 1,200 attorneys who practice in Portage and Summit counties.

Duane L. Isham of Akron will be saluted for 65 years in practice.

Honorees for 50 years of service include Louis R. Bertrand of Ravenna, Paul F. Buzzi and George A. Dietrich of Akron, Charles R. Eshelman of Cuyahoga Falls, Mitchell B. Goldberg of Northfield and Thomas J. Sicuro of Ravenna.

The Ohio State Bar Foundation will also present its Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under to Jaime U. Kolligian of Akron.

Executive named ‘Rising Star’

Ike Herman, the chief operating officer at OEConnection, was honored as one of Automotive News’ 2018 Rising Stars in the automakers and suppliers category.


Professional groups merge

The Akron chapter of APICS, a professional association for supply chain and operations management and a provider of research, education and certification programs, has announced its merger with the American Society of Transportation Logistics.
