Bank officers promoted

• Westfield Bank: Mike Toth was promoted to bank president. Matt Berthold was promoted to chief operating officer. Matt Sprang was promoted to president of agency banking. Tim Busby joined the leadership team as chief credit officer.

• The J.M. Smucker Co.: David J. Lemmon has been chosen to succeed Barry C. Dunaway, who is retiring from his role as president of the pet food and pet snacks segment. Jeffrey Walters, president and chief executive officer of Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, will take on the role of senior vice president and general manager of Ainsworth when Smucker’s acquisition of the company is finalized.


Davey named to Forbes list

• The Davey Tree Expert Co. was ranked No. 294 among large companies in the Forbes magazine Top 500 Best Employers in America for 2018.

• For the fifth consecutive year, the Skoda Minotti business advisory firm was named to Accounting Today’s 2018 list of Top 100 firms nationwide based on revenue.


Salon to move up the street

M.C. Hair Consultants & studio mc at 833 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls is preparing to move its operations this year to 931 Portage Trail.

The 3,500-square-foot space in the former Stadelman Associates office will feature more guest amenities, including a single-story layout, salon treatments and services and better accessibility.

The salon expects to announce details of the move this summer.
