It is game on at the Akron area’s first mega entertainment center.

Scene75 has opened its doors in Brunswick.

Spokeswoman Alyssa Galik said the new business in the former Buehler’s location along state Route 303 cleared its final inspections and will be open to the public on Wednesday.

Workers have been spending months converting the former grocery store into what is billed as the largest indoor entertainment center in Northeast Ohio.

The company had hoped to open earlier this summer but encountered some construction delays including having to install a new concrete floor.

This is the company’s third Ohio location, starting off in Dayton five years ago with another one already open in Cincinnati.

The Brunswick location covers some 83,000 square feet and is a pay-as-you-play venue with laser tag, indoor go-carts, a center bar, virtual reality, black-light mini-golf, inflatables, arcade games, mini-bowling and a 4-D motion theater.

There is also an indoor Food Truck Alley featuring a permanent home for four Cleveland-area food trucks including Boca Loca Burrito Factory, Proper Pig Smokehouse, River Dog Café and Sauced Woodfired Pizza.

The Brunswick location will be open Wednesday through Sunday. It will be closed for private rentals Mondays and Tuesdays.
