A Streetsboro man accused of shooting and killing an unarmed Akron man in a dispute over a dirt bike has been deemed mentally competent to stand trial. Kerry O’Brien, William Knight’s attorney, is pursuing a self-defense theory. Knight, 64, is charged with murder and felonious assault and is being held at the Summit County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
