Defunct Canton brew equipment maker owners and creditors have their say in court. Reported by Rick Armon. The former owners of Sis Tech Stainless Works say the company failed because they encountered higher expenses after relocating to a larger facility and seeing prices for stainless steel rise. Jason and Amanda Spurrell, who have been accused of ripping off craft breweries around the country and have been the target of a criminal investigation, were quizzed about the business Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court as part of their filing for Chapter 7 personal bankruptcy.
