The last surviving parent of the four Kent State University students killed on campus in May 1970 has died, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports. Elaine Holstein, the mother of 20-year-old victim Jeffrey Miller, was 96. She died Saturday. Miller’s body was featured in a Pulitzer Prize-winning photo taken by John Filo shortly after the shooting May 4 by the Ohio National Guard.
