Highball Dance Party, the Akron Art Museum’s premier fall fundraiser, will raise the rafters — or whatever they call those things soaring above the museum lobby — from 7:30 p.m. to midnight Nov. 15.

The museum at 1 S. High St. (notice the little play on words — Highball/High Street) will be transformed into Akron’s hottest nightclub as DJ Darrick Grant, host of Eclectic Soul on WCSB (89.9-FM) will spin classic soul, funk and disco to keep partygoers dancing all night long. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar are included in the admission tickets.

Tickets begin at $75. Sponsorship opportunities start at $1,500 and include reserved lounge seating on the dance floor, exclusive access to the VIP bar, a bottle of champagne and table service.

Purchase tickets online at www.AkronArtMuseum.org/highball. For tickets at the sponsorship level, please contact Carol Murphy at cMurphy@akronartmuseum.org or 330-376-9186, ext. 215.

Follow the museum on Facebook and Twitter for updates on this event.
