In honor of the popular holiday that either remembers the dead or celebrates the harvest, here’s an All Hallows’ Eve-related list of things to do.

“I want to drink your blood” and dance. In the remembering-the-dead category, how about some bloody fun at the Neos Dance Theatre’s Count … The Legend of Dracula, 8 p.m. — Saturday at the Akron Civic Theatre, 182 S. Here is A DSTinctively SophistAKAted Friday Halloween Bash, sure to confuse those dead spirits looking for revenge. The sisters of Zeta Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and the Akron Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. are the hosts of the event from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday at the Akron Urban League, 440 Vernon Odom Blvd. DJ MoLee will provide the tunes and there will be vendors and prizes for the best costume. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Some of the proceeds will be given to the American Diabetes Association. The zombies in George A. Romero’s 1968 classic Night of the Living Dead proved that moving slow and steady with a group of like-minded “people” will get you fed. See the human-eating creatures at Lake 8 Movies’ midnight Friday screening of the movie at the theater at 588 W. Tuscarawas Ave., Barberton. If an adventure by moonlight is your thing, this is the last weekend this season to visit the Farnam Manor estate in Richfield for a lantern tour and walk along the Trail to the Unknown. The haunting night starts at the 1840 carriage house and includes scary tales by a campfire, a tour by lantern of the manor house at 4223 Brecksville Road and a walk along the winding path of the Trail to the Unknown. And last but not least, take a furtive stroll through a haunted attraction. Here are some locations:

• The Haunted Schoolhouse and Laboratory, 1300 Triplett Blvd., Akron, has been scaring the heck out of folks for decades. It’s open 7:30-10 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. $17 for one haunted spot, $26 for two on Friday and Saturday.
