FAIRLAWN: Residents are encouraged to come to Bicentennial Park with an empty stomach for the city's Food Truck Roundup on Sunday.

"The Fairlawn Food Truck Roundup is quickly approaching," said Laurie Beisecker, parks and recreation director "It's going to be a fun day for the entire family."

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Bicentennial Park. Guests can expect a day filled with fun, music and lots of food. A portion of the food proceeds will go to the Fairlawn Community Foundation.

More than 18 food trucks are planning on participating in the event including: The Orange Truk, Zydeco Bistro, Wholly Frijoles, Pig Lickin Good BBQ, Mobile Sushi Bar by Sushi on the Roll, Umami Moto, Sweet Mobile Cupcake, Stone Pelican, Jibaro, Fired Up Tacos, Hodge Podge Truck, Krav, East Coast Custards The Popsmith, Rolling Pig, StrEat Mobile Bistro, Swensons, Denostas Wood Fired Grille and Get Stuffed Solar Powered Mobile Eatery.

The family-friendly event will feature entertainment from a balloon twister, magician and juggler. There will also be performances by the following bands: Zobapago from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., Beyond Blue and the Voodoo Doctors from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 Mile Isle Steel Drum Band from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
