The 18th Annual Glenmoor Gathering of Significant Automobiles will be held at the Glenmoor Country Club from September 14-16.  The popular event will include early supercharged, steam-powered and sports cars.


Seminars will also be held on the 1935 Duesenberg Race Car and lessons on how to buy a collector car.  This event is not only for car enthusiasts, because it will also feature cooking demonstrations, countryside tours, and family activities.  The gathering will also host a cocktail party and elegant dinner.


According to the Glenmoor informational website, more than 5,000 people attended last year's event and they are expecting just as many if not more to make it this year. 


Tickets are available for $25 per person and can be purchased at both the Akron and Massillon AAA auto clubs, Buehler's in Jackson Township, Ernie's Bike Shops, Summit Racing, Ziegler's Tire Stores, Canton Classic Car Museum, Custom Framing Shop in Cuyahoga Falls, Beahn's Custom Framing Shop in Peninsula and at the Country Club. 


Military personnel will be admitted free of charge in uniform and children under 12 are also free.
