GREEN: The City of Greenís FreedomFest is from noon until 11 p.m. Saturday at Boettler Park, 5300 Massillon Road.

Activities including inflatables, a mechanical bull, and mobile gaming, along with various contests will begin at noon and run until 8 p.m.

Various local businesses will be exhibited throughout the afternoon. Foods from Chick-Fil-A, Stoddardís Ice Cream, The Pierogi Lady and other vendors will be on site selling festival foods from funnel cakes to BBQ beef sandwiches.

Live music will begin at 6 p.m. with the Danny Milan Band performing a Billy Joel tribute concert on the Legends stage. Following them will be headlining act 7 Bridges, an Eagles tribute band at 8:30 p.m.

The annual fireworks display will end the evening at approximately 10:15 p.m.

Summa Health System and Legends Sports Pub and Grille are the event sponsors. Admission and parking are is sponsored by free. Parking is available at Boettler Park and various parking lots along International Parkway.
