The HBA’s Akron Home and Flower Show presented by Window Pro, “The Marvin Experts” continues today, March 1, and Sunday, March 2 at the John S. Knight Center in downtown Akron. Hours today are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday’s hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket prices are $8 at the gate but can be purchased at a discount by going to AkronHomeandFlowerShow.com.

The theme of this year’s show is “20 years of inspiration” and that’s because the show has inspired attendees with home and flower ideas for 20 consecutive years.

Nationally known names coming to this year’s show are Dr. Lori, the appraiser who appears on the TV show, “The Auction Kings,” and John Gidding, the star of HGTV’S hit show, “Curb Appeal.”

In addition to national celebrities, Channel 3’s meteorologist, Betsy Kling, will be on hand to see old friends and sign autographs at the show today.

The show features over 7,000 square feet of feature gardens and an Eco Living section along with the Professional Remodelers Council display, “Home for Life.”

Finally, for the second straight year, the show will have beer and wine at Nick’s Grotto, sponsored by Nick’s Landscaping and Silestone distributed by ILSD. Stop by for Thirsty Dog beer and wine from the Winery at Wolf Creek.

Be sure to experience spring and do some one-stop shopping for all things home and flower related at the HBA Akron Home and Flower Show today and tomorrow at the John S. Knight Center.
