Adele riled by fan’s filming

Adele wants concert-goers to look at her with their own eyes instead of through a camera lens.

A video posted by a fan on Twitter shows the 28-year-old British singer singling out a woman at a concert in Verona, Italy, asking her: “Could you stop filming me with that video camera? Because I’m really here in real life, you can enjoy it in real life rather than through your camera.”

Adele added: “This isn’t a DVD, this is a real show.” She said she’d really like those in the crowd to enjoy it “because there’s lots of people outside that couldn’t come in.” She then rolled her eyes.

SiriusXM suspends radio host

Conservative host Glenn Beck has been suspended by SiriusXM satellite radio for agreeing with an author who asked hypothetically “what patriot will step up” to remove Republican Donald Trump from office if he’s elected president and oversteps his authority.

SiriusXM said Beck’s program was suspended for this week and the company was “evaluating its place” in the lineup. The comments “may be reasonably construed by some to have been advocating harm against an individual currently running for office,” SiriusXM said in a statement.

Snoop Dogg no fan of ‘Roots’

Count Snoop Dogg out when it comes to watching the History Channel’s remake of Roots. In an expletive-filled rant posted on Instagram, the rapper calls for a boycott of the remake of the 1977 miniseries based on Alex Haley’s novel about an African slave and his descendants.

Of Roots and recent Academy Award Best Picture winner 12 Years a Slave, Snoop says “they just want to keeping showing the abuse we took hundreds and hundreds of years ago.” He says black people are taking the “same abuse” today. He questioned when a series will be made about successful black people.
