Kim K talks about Khloe, Tristan

Kim Kardashian West is speaking out publicly about her sister Khloe’s relationship with Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson.

Khloe gave birth to a baby girl named True earlier this month, days after a video surfaced of Thompson where it appeared he was cheating on her. On Monday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kardashian West said: “I don’t even know how to describe it besides it’s so [expletive] up.”

She describes it as a “sad situation.” Kardashian West says Khloe’s main focus is on being a mom. She’s taking some alone time with the baby to figure out what to do next.

Kardashian West also was careful not to say too much because she says True would one day be old enough to comprehend the situation.

Meryl Streep to skip induction

Award-winning actress Meryl Streep won’t be there when she’s inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame next week.

The Summit native has a last-minute production conflict as part of her role in the HBO series Big Little Lies and won’t attend the Sunday ceremony in Asbury Park.

Streep is part of a class that includes Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry, disco queen Gloria Gaynor, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and E Street Band guitarist and Sopranos star Steven Van Zandt.

Time’s Up targets singer R. Kelly

The Time’s Up campaign is taking aim at R. Kelly over allegations he has sexually abused women.

The organization devoted to helping women in the aftermath of sexual abuse issued a statement Monday urging further investigation into Kelly’s behavior, which has come under closer scrutiny over the last year as women have come forward to accuse him of everything from sexual coercion to physical abuse. Kelly has denied such charges.

“We demand appropriate investigations and inquiries into the allegations of R. Kelly’s abuse made by women and their families for more than two decades now. And we declare with great vigilance and a united voice to anyone who wants to silence us — their time is up,” the statement said.

The statement was issued by the Women of Color committee within Time’s Up, which includes Oscar-nominated director Ava DuVernay, TV mogul Shonda Rhimes and actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell.
