The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad will begin selling tickets to its popular Polar Express on Tuesday. Tickets will be sold at starting at midnight. The Polar Express will run from Nov. 15 through Dec. 20 from the Rockside Station in Independence and the Akron Northside Station.

The holiday program is based on Chris Van Allsburg’s Caldecott-winning book and Warner Bros. motion picture The Polar Express, in which a young boy’s trip to the North Pole revives his belief in the Christmas spirit.

Tickets are $43 for ages 2 and up for standard seating, $58-$77 for an upgraded ticket on select nights. Trips depart nightly at 7 p.m. and return at 9 p.m. New matinee runs will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 14 and 2 p.m. Dec. 15.
