Dan’s Dogs has everything you want in a hot dog joint — vintage neon signs, a jukebox, counter service, old-school booths and yummy hot dogs.

The menu boasts some 41 different varieties of hog dogs, including ones with the chili made daily (the not-so secret ingredient is the joint’s signature root beer), along with housemade cole slaw. There’s also Dan’s Famous Dog served “Chicago Style” with mustard, relish, onions, cucumber, hot peppers, pickle and celery salt at $3.29 for a regular size or $3.79 for a jumbo.
