I can ramble on about the 2015 Viña Eguía tempranillo from Spain, and how it exudes dark cherry and tobacco leaf notes. Or I can further pontificate that the wine flaunts aromas of dried cranberry and pairs amazingly well with a Chipotle chicken burrito. Let’s not overlook the brilliant ruby color either, nor the fact that I can’t even pronounce the name. I had to ask my sister, a Fulbright Scholar in Spanish, how to pronounce it (Vee-nya ay-who-EE-ah).

Without a doubt, the best advice I can give is to agree with me and acclaimed wine critic James Suckling, who scored the wine 91 points, and head to the store and purchase a bottle or two (or six) of this wonderful $9.99 Spanish gem.

Buy this wine at Market District Cuyahoga Falls and Green, West Point Market, Giant Eagle Fairlawn, Buehler’s Jackson Township, and Lakes Beverage in the Portage Lakes.
