STOW:  The city of Stow’s youth softball league is asking residents to swing a bat for a good cause on Saturday to raise funds for a local cancer charity, according to Stow Patch.

Stow YES Softball is holding its 4th annual Spirit Day fundraiser that will support the Lori A. Lepper Foundation.  The foundation is named after an area woman who died in January at the age of 42 from her battle with cancer.

The fundraiser will be held at the Stow-Munroe Falls High School baseball fields and will feature a hitting derby, fielding competition and standard team games.
