Tennis Anyone? Junior, Youth and Adult Lessons Available!
The Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department has several tennis programs available for ages five through adult.
Junior Tennis Lessons: A modified tennis program for ages 5-8
Fridays, beginning June 15 at the courts at Falls High.
Choose from a 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. or 10:45 - 11:15 a.m. class time.
Participants will need a junior size racquet and will receive a t-shirt.
Cost is $30 Cuyahoga Falls Resident and $35 Nonresident.
Youth Tennis Lessons:
Progressive tennis instruction for ages 9-17 beginning the week of June 11.
Three skill levels are offered.
All registration will take place at the Parks and Recreation Office, the Quirk Cultural Center or online at www.cityofcf.com/parksandrec.
Registration deadline is one day prior to each start date, no sign ups at the courts.
All fees include T-shirt and entry into the Youth Tournament following the lessons.
All lessons will be held at the courts at Falls High. All lessons are June 11-27 (Mon. & Wed.) or June 12-28 (Tues. & Thurs.). Lesson levels are as follows:
Beginner Level (elementary and middle school aged participants)
Fee: $45Res/$50Nonres. This class meets for one hour twice a week (8:30-9:30 am) for three weeks.
Junior Varsity Level (middle school and high school aged participants)
Fee: $50Res/$55Nonres. This class meets one and a half hours twice a week (10:00 – 11:30 a.m.), for three weeks.
Varsity Level (high school aged participants)
Fee: $50Res/$55Nonres. This class meets one and a half hours twice a week (11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), for three weeks.
Adult Tennis Lessons
Two different nights of adult tennis lessons will be offered beginning Tuesday,
June 12 or Thursday, June 14 at the tennis courts at Falls High.
Beginner classes meet from 6:15 -7:30 p.m. and Intermediate classes meet from 7:30 - 8:45 p.m.
Cost of the three-week session is $40 Cuyahoga Falls Resident and $45 for
nonresidents. Players should bring a new can of balls to the first lesson.
