Watch acclaimed documentary

The University of Akron and its School of Law present a screening of Abacus: Small Enough to Jail, the Oscar-nominated documentary about the small bank that was the only one indicted in the wake of the 2008 financial collapse. Vera and Chanterelle Sung, two of film’s subjects, and producer and Akron native Mark Mitten will participate in a panel discussion afterward (read our interview with Mitten at https://bit.ly/2vREIxK). It begins at 6 p.m. in the David and Ann Amer Brennan Courtroom of the C. Blake McDowell Law Center. It’s free, but registration is requested at uakron.edu/abacus.
