‘Lemon,’ ‘Dave Made a Maze’ at Nightlight

On view at the Nightlight through Thursday are the indie films Lemon and Dave Made a Maze. Lemon stars comedian Brett Gelman as a pompous acting coach whose life falls apart; critic Nick Allen of rogerebert.com said “The whole movie is an excellent balance of meaningful comedy and Lemon’s natural, invigorating impulse to be so, so strange.” Dave Made a Maze, a fantasy about a man who builds a cardboard fort in his living room and finds a supernatural world within it, has drawn comparisons to Terry Gilliam’s style. Tickets are $7-$9; find showtimes at www.nightlightcinema.com.
