‘The Dark Crystal’ returns to movie theaters

The classic The Dark Crystal will be shown at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday at Cinemark Portage Crossing, Cuyahoga Falls; Montrose Movies 12 in Akron; Tinseltown USA in Jackson Township and Movies 10 in Wooster. The movie was co-directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz and came out more than 35 years ago. The showings include a new interview with Lisa Henson, CEO and president of the Jim Henson Co., who will talk about the film and her late father.

Sensory Friendly Day at Cleveland museum

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History will host its first Sensory Friendly Day on Sunday for those on the autism spectrum and their families. The event will take place outside of regular museum hours from 10 a.m. to noon. There will also be designated quiet areas inside of the museum. Tickets are $12. Visit CMNH.org for more information.

Final bow for ‘Twelfth Night’ in Akron
