Wildwater Kingdom in Aurora kicks off the July Fourth weekend by offering free admission to all active, inactive or retired U.S. military members. The free ticket offer runs through Monday. Visit Crafty Mart in Canton

The Crafty Mart runs from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Canton Museum of Art, 1001 Market Ave. N. The one-day event features handcrafted gifts and attainable art made by local, independent artisans. Rib, White & Blue sizzles in Akron

Akron’s Rib, White & Blue festival opens Friday on South Main Street between Bowery and State streets and Lock 3 Park. There will be 12 rib vendors and other food along with children’s rides and inflatables. Friday’s main entertainment at Lock 3 Park includes Vanity Crash at 6:30 p.m., Bruce in the USA, a tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, at 8:30 p.m.

Italian fest is in Cuyahoga County
