Downtown@Dusk is back

The free Downtown@Dusk concert series at the Akron Art Museum’s Bud and Susie Rogers Garden opens with jazz trumpeter Curtis Taylor at 6:30 p.m., accompanied by Akron’s own Theron Brown. Food and drinks will be available for sale. akronartmuseum.org.

Author to speak in Hudson

Author George Michelson Foy talks about his book Run the Storm at 7 p.m. at the Hudson Library & Historical Society. The book focuses on the El Faro, an American cargo ship that sank in the Bermuda Triangle in 2015, killing 33.
