Listen to a youth orchestra

The Canton Youth Symphonies perform at 4 p.m. at Zimmermann Symphony Center, Umstattd Performing Arts Hall. The Classics Alive Foundation awarded the group Youth Orchestra of the Year, which earned them a residency with violinist and Classics Alive co-founder Lindsay Deutsch and a $500 scholarship. Deutsch has been working with the young musicians and will play in the concert. Tickets are just $5. www.cantonsymphony.org.

Got a beer can collection gathering dust in the attic? The Lake Erie Chapter of the Brewery Collectibles Club of America will host its spring show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Olmsted Party Center, 29271 Lorain Road. The show will feature brewery collectibles such as cans, bottles, trays, lights, openers, coasters and other types of unusual brewery items. Admission is free, and the public is invited to bring unusual brewery items for appraisal or to sell.
