Some comics relief in Massillon
David Harding will speak at the Massillon Museum’s Brown Bag Lunch Tuesday about the history of newspaper comic strips. The noon talk is free and open to the public. Harding, a retired teacher and museum trustee, will trace the history of comic strips and even host a friendly trivia contest. The Massillon Museum is at 121 Lincoln Way E. World premiere of ‘Shroud’
The Emerson String Quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The concert at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, 198 Hill St., in Akron, will feature the world premiere of Shroud by Mark-Anthony Turnage.
