‘Will & Grace’ returns to NBC

One of the most anticipated fall TV debuts is actually a revival: Will & Grace, and Jack & Karen, too, are back after 11 years, at 9 p.m. on NBC. (Just forget about that final episode from 2006, by the way. Never happened.) Sixteen new episodes will air this season, and it’s already been renewed for a second.

Wynton Marsalis at E.J. Thomas

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by Wynton Marsalis, plays E.J. Thomas Hall at the University of Akron, at 7:30 p.m. It’s part of Tuesday Musical’s FUZE series. Tickets are $25-$45, free for students, as long as they remain (how often do you get the chance to see a certified jazz legend?). 330-253-2488, www.uaevents.com.

Canton Symphony plays Eagles

The Canton Symphony again joins forces with Jeans ‘n Classics, which produced its “Music of Queen” and “Music of Bowie and Prince” concerts, to present “Music of the Eagles” at 8 p.m. at Umstattd Performing Arts Hall. Expect hits like Witchy Woman, Victim of Love and New Kid in Town. Before the concert, visit the Tequila Sunrise Party at 6:30 at the Zimmermann Symphony Center adjacent to the hall, with food, a cash bar, a DJ and giveaways ($15). Concert tickets are $20-$30. www.cantonsymphony.org, 330-452-2094.
