If you are looking for a new home or are just a house aficionado, consider the next four weekends booked. Both Stark and Medina county homebuilders will be presenting Fall home tours, and both events are free to the public.
Home tours (whether they are touted as circuits or parades) are one of the best ways to scoop out the newest of the new in home decoration and products. They give you the opportunity to become informed about what trends are on the horizon (before you rip out your kitchen and fill it with stainless steel, which is so 2010!) Plus, if you use your visit wisely, you can audition a large range of ideas: the idea of a tray ceiling, placement of Jack and Jill bedrooms or even area home building companies.
“You will see all the amenities, all the latest in construction products and technology, brought to you by member of the Building Industry Association” says James Rudo, 2013 president of the BIA of Stark County.
It’s also a perfect time to buy or build a new home. With the recent increase in home building, construction costs will eventually start to rise. Mortgage interest rates are currently at some of the lowest ever, making now a very good time to consider building a new home.
