The David YMCA will offer online registration packets for its summer child care programs starting Monday.

All sessions are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The YMCA day camp runs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There are five different camps offered at the David YMCA depending on age. Kinder Camp is offered to children entering kindergarten and is held at Jackson Memorial Middle School. Jr. Day Camp is for children entering first and second grade and is also held at Jackson Memorial Middle School. Children entering third and fourth grade attend Day Camp at Jackson Memorial Middle School. Camp Mid is for sixth through eighth grade children and is available at the David YMCA. For teens entering grades 8 to 12, the YMCA offers a C.I.T. (Counselor in Training) program, which allows students to help with summer day camp or Camp Mid.

The YMCA makes sure that their staff is trained and certified in Child Abuse Recognition and Prevention, Communicable Disease Management, First Aid, CPR and Child Development.

The David YMCA is located at 7389 Caritas Circle NW, Massillon.
