TV personalities Shari Hiller and Matt Fox will be chatting live with fans from 9 to 10 a.m. today at www.mattandshari.com/outside-projects/live-chat-now.html.

The chat coincides with a 24-hour marathon of their show Around the House With Matt & Shari, which is being broadcast today on cable network Create TV.

Hiller and Fox were formerly hosts of Room By Room, a show based in Northeast Ohio that aired on HGTV.

Students plant trees

Students in the plant, landscape and turf management program at Portage Lakes Career Center planted 15 trees around the campus last week as part of a day of service by people in the lawn-care and landscape industry.

The 15 students also did some mulching and trash pickup at the school, their instructor, Ryan McMichael, said. The bare-root trees they planted were donated by Hans Nelson and Sons Nursery in Oregon.

The nationwide day of service was coordinated by the trade organization Professional Landcare Network.
