You can have a Cup-A-Soup. You can have a Cup-A-Noodles. Why not a Cup-A-Red-Beans-and-Rice?

The folks at Zatarainís must have had that very thought when they created a new way of eating their popular traditional New Orleans foods (they also make a jambalaya, dirty rice and black beans and rice).

How does it taste? Pretty much like red beans and rice, actually, and what it may lack in gloss it more than makes up in convenience.

A 1.75-ounce package is about $1.49 at grocery stores.
