CINCINNATI: Here’s the scoop: the newest flavor from Cincinnati’s iconic ice cream company is . . . “cake batter fudge brownie.”

Graeter’s announced the new treat Thursday on its Facebook page, after tantalizing fans with a “Mystery Flavor.” The company has often had seasonal flavors, such as peach or blueberry pie. Available through June, the new ice cream is cake batter-flavored with brownie chunks.

The company dating to 1870 went national in recent years after praise by Oprah Winfrey and other celebrity fans, including “Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker and soap opera star Susan Lucci.

The company uses a “French Pot” method that produces particularly thick ice cream, with flavors such as black raspberry chip and butter pecan.
